No. AlphaAssist provisions production Twilio numbers on your behalf. You don't need a separate Twilio account; we handle the Twilio relationship. Your AlphaAssist subscription covers all Twilio costs.
Is there a setup fee to port my number?
No setup fee from AlphaAssist. Twilio may charge a small port-in fee (typically $5–$15), which is included in your first month's bill. The port process itself takes 5–10 business days.
What happens if Twilio goes down?
Twilio's infrastructure is highly redundant, but if an outage occurs, inbound calls cannot be answered. We monitor Twilio's status and will notify you of any incidents. During an outage, calls may fail to connect or route to a failover carrier if available on your plan.
Can I customize which data syncs between AlphaAssist and Twilio?
You control routing rules, SMS triggers, and message categorization within AlphaAssist. Twilio's core call and SMS data always syncs to power the service. You cannot disable call recording or caller ID capture, as these are essential to the AI receptionist's function.
Can I use my own Twilio account instead?
